The MDI-101 eye drops is a Class IIa Medical Device (CE) which contains a new mucopolysaccharide, currently not present in ophthalmic products on the market, with demonstrated re-epithelialization and corneal repair activity. The active ingredient is properly mixed with the following other key components:
- Hyaluronic Acid (with positive and unique interaction with the new molecule)
- Emulsifier substance with antioxidant activity
- Substance with emollient and anti-inflammatory properties
- Substance with a cell-membrane stabilizing effect
- Boric Acid and Tetraborate (as buffer)
